Crenellated Habitat
The pair of panels at each end of the pedestrian bridge into Calgary’s Nose Hill Park serves as a threshold between the developed and undeveloped areas of that part of the city. The geometry and colouration of the panels echo the architecture of the bridge while gestural suggestions of bison, predators, a cross-section of the soil, and a topographical map are etched on the curved faces.
Size: Four panels, each 3 meters by 1.35 height (10 ft x 54 inches) hgt
